Report an incorrect rent or question a number

The data is renter-reported, so a figure can be wrong or out of date. If a rent looks incorrect, or a published median doesn’t match what you know about an area, tell us and we’ll look into it. The fastest route for a single bad pin is to open it on the map and tap Report - enough reports pull a pin out of the median automatically. For a specific correction, a question about how a number was calculated, or a whole area that looks off, email [email protected] with the area, the size (BHK), and what you believe the right figure is.

What to expect: we read every report. A pin that is clearly wrong is corrected or removed; a disputed statistic is checked against the underlying reports and we reply explaining what we found. Because this is a small independent project, corrections are made as soon as we can get to them rather than on a fixed timetable. How medians are computed, and when a report is held out of one, is set out on the methodology page.

Removing your own data

You can delete your own pins any time (tap the pin, then delete) and manage a listing from the private link you were given when you posted it. For anything else, email [email protected]. Because map pins carry no identity and IP addresses are only ever stored as a salted hash, there may be nothing that identifies you to remove. The Privacy Policy covers what we collect and your rights in full.

What this is not
